Jacob is an attorney at Ogg, Murphy, & Perkosky, P. C., where he focuses on medical malpractice and personal injury matters. He came to this area of law through a law school internship at a medical malpractice firm, where he discovered a practice that aligned with something he cared deeply about: standing up for individuals harmed by institutions with far greater resources. Today, that mission drives his work every day, holding large organizations accountable when they make mistakes, and making sure his clients are not left to face the consequences alone.

Jacob’s academic record reflects someone who approaches every challenge with rigor and care. He graduated cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law on a Dean’s Scholarship, where he received the Trial Advocacy Award and a CALI Award in Spanish for Lawyers.
He also contributed to The Pittsburgh Journal of Technology, Law, and Policy. In one of his most notable professional accomplishments, Jacob helped author an amicus brief submitted to the United States Supreme Court. He received his B. A. in History magna cum laude from Allegheny College, with a Spanish minor and Latin America focus, and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Sigma lota, and Phi Alpha Theta honor societies.
Jacob is a member of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and has been recognized by The National Trial Lawyers as a Top 40 Under 40 attorney.
Outside of the office, Jacob is a former amateur blacksmith with a love of the outdoors, cooking, and history. He brings the same patience and deliberate attention to his personal interests that he brings to his clients’ cases.
